April Brown
Consultant, coach, and Producer
Hello, I’m April. I'm an inclusion consultant, an engagement specialist and a creative coach committed to supporting diverse talent to flourish.
As a consultant, I specialise in DEI training and developing inclusive, creative projects and programmes catering to diverse and intergenerational audiences. I have nearly 15 years of experience delivering multidisciplinary programmes and projects as a producer working with various organisations, including Tate, Somerset House, Creative Access, A New Direction, LIFT and Good Growth Hub.
I have over ten years of experience supporting, mentoring and coaching creatives from underrepresented backgrounds looking to advance their careers.
As a thoughtful facilitator with a passion for community engagement and inclusion, my ability to work autonomously has allowed me to successfully manage projects for a range of business and not-for-profit work environments.
I'm a fellow of The School for Social Entrepreneurs and an alumna of the UpRising Leadership Programme. Most recently, I completed the Clore Emerging Leaders Programme and launched a small charity called Grand Plan.
Grand Plan is a fund run by creatives for creatives. We are supported by a community of artists and creative ambassadors who give their time and money to back the realisation of new cultural projects.
