April Brown
Creative Coach, Consultant, and Programme Manager
Hello. I'm April, an engagement specialist and creative coach dedicated to empowering diverse talent to flourish.
Whether you're:
- A creative seeking growth
- An organisation aiming to enhance inclusivity and engage with young audiences
- Interested in the intersection of arts and community
I'm here to collaborate. Get in touch via the form below and let's start a conversation.
My work focuses on two key areas:
1. Empowering underrepresented creatives:
- Providing culturally-informed coaching that honours unique experiences and challenges
- Helping individuals overcome barriers and build unshakeable confidence
- Supporting creatives in achieving their career goals
2. Supporting socially conscious organisations:
- Offering inclusive, innovative and imaginative consulting services
- Facilitating co-production initiatives that drive meaningful impact
- Developing and delivering inclusive, creative projects for diverse, young and intergenerational audiences
- Providing DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) training and consultancy
My ability to work autonomously has enabled me to successfully manage projects across various creative business and not-for-profit environments.
With nearly 15 years' experience and an MA in Arts and Cultural Management from King's College London, I've delivered multidisciplinary programmes and projects for organisations including Tate, Somerset House, Creative Access, A New Direction, LIFT and Good Growth Hub.
I'm a fellow of The School for Social Entrepreneurs, an alumna of the UpRising Leadership Programme and the Clore Emerging Leaders Programme.
